Google search console is also known as Google webmaster Tool. 


Benefits of using Google search console : 

* We can target the country in which we want our websites to show.

* Google can understand the defects while crawling and make changes accordingly. 


Defects include : 

1. Loading problems 

2. Device compatibility issues

3. Broken links

4. Crawling issues 

Search console can solve these problems. It gives suggestions and information regarding duplicate meta description , exceeding meta description length too. 

These will make a negative impact and can effect our rank. 

Google search console can understand these problems and help to improve our rank. 


VERIFICATION METHODS ON SEARCH CONSOLE :

1. HTML File : The html file which is provided is to be downloaded and uploaded to the websites root directory.


2. HTML Meta Tag : Html meta tag will be provided which is to be copied and pasted to the websites head session. 


3. Google Analytics : To analyse the interaction of our visitors and to understand the source of google traffic. 


4. Google Tag Manager : We can use the tag manager added to our website. 


5. DNS Data : We receive DNS Data from Google and we can paste it on our website. 


VERIFICATION PROCESS : 

1. Search  " Google search Console ".


2. Login to your Google account. Use the same account used for Blog , so that it gets verified. 


3. Copy the URL and go to search console. 


4. You will have two options. Choose URL prefix option.

5. Paste the link and press continue. 


6. Press on go to property and click 'Inspect any URL'. Paste the URL and google will crawl your website.

7. Click on 'Test Live URL' and will be crawled once again. After this it will show ' URL is on Google'.
